On July 2, the violinist performed with the Gürzenich Orchestra under the baton of François-Xavier Roth at the Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall, before appearing at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on July 4. The program included Saint-Saëns' Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3, Beethoven's Leonore Overture and Schumann's "Rhenish" Symphony.

Daishin Kashimoto's CD with Chausson's Concerto for Piano, Violin and String Quartet, recorded together with Éric Le Sage and the Schumann Quartet, was released by Sony Classical in October 2024 and was promptly voted Album of the Week by BR Klassik radio.

Daishin Kashimoto starts his three-year residency as soloist with the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester at the end of October with two concerts in Mannheim Castle.
